Meet Our Founder, Channing Yip
Ask me what my ultimate weakness is and it’s an easy answer... Cookies, of course! It’s not uncommon to find me purchasing/trying out different types every chance I get. Whether at the grocery store or my favorite sandwich shop, an impulse buy is bound to happen if one catches my eye.
What I’ve found though, is all too often they seem to lack flavor, are too dry, or so carelessly decorated... you can tell they are simply mass produced; with no heart or real effort behind them. And it turns out, I’m not alone here! I don’t know how many times I’ve had friends and family describe similar instances where their cookie experience simply falls flat.
All that said, is there any real reason why cookies can’t look as good as they taste, or taste as good as they look? I think not! And this is where I started to wander down the cookie “rabbit hole”. It was time to take matters into my own hands… the goal: create cookies that shout, I’m beautiful AND taste delicious too! Cookies that truly reflect the heart and care put into them.
And THAT is what Pin & Parchment Cookie Co. is all about. Our aim is to share that it is possible to have your cake AND eat it too… or cookies, rather. You can have your cookies and eat them too! Flavor should never jeopardize beauty and vice versa. We’ll show you that happiness can be found in the right cookie!
